Product Application of Imidazolidinyl Urea (CAS No. 39236-46-9)

Imidazolidinyl urea is used in biological research to investigate the synergistic antimicrobial effects of essential oils and surfactants against Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Staphylococcus aureus. It is also applied in pharmacological studies focusing on nutrient activation and drug-protective mechanisms achieved by shifting cellular energy metabolism from mitochondrial respiration to glycolysis.

In addition, it is involved in therapeutic research utilizing plant-derived nanostructured carriers for the localized delivery of active compounds. Imidazolidinyl urea is further used in topical formulations as an antioxidant.

The compound is also employed in analytical studies comparing micellar electrokinetic chromatography (MEKC) and electrokinetic chromatography of microemulsions for prophylactic analysis, as well as in in vitro studies examining induced apoptosis and necrosis associated with commonly used prophylactic agents.
