D-a-Tocopherol succinate CAS#4345-03-3

Powerful Antioxidant – Acts as a potent antioxidant, protecting cells from oxidative stress.

Radioprotective Effect – Protects against gamma-radiation by inducing granulocyte-colony stimulating factor.

Anticancer Activity – Induces apoptosis in human gastric cancer and neuroblastoma cells, and inhibits mesothelioma cell proliferation.

Regulates Cell Growth – Down-regulates fibroblast growth factor receptor-1 (FGFR-1) to inhibit tumor cell proliferation.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Tocopherol succinate (CAS 4345-03-3) is a potent antioxidant that protects mice from gamma radiation by inducing granulocyte-colony stimulating factor. It induces apoptosis in human gastric cancer cells, inhibits the proliferation of mesothelioma cells through down-regulation of fibroblast growth factor receptor-1 (FGFR-1), and also promotes apoptosis in neuroblastoma cells.

A potent and novel antineoplastic agent with high selectivity that works cooperatively with tumor necrosis factor-related apoptosis-inducing ligand (Apo2 ligand). It inhibits the proliferation of mesothelioma cells through selective down-regulation of fibroblast growth factor receptors and has been shown to enhance the antitumor effects of dendritic cell vaccines.
